As a member of the BACP, I take my responsiblities both to my clients and the profession very seriously.

I recognise that your deciding to engage in a therapeutic relationship with me involves a great deal of trust and so you are entitled to expect that my conduct meets my obligations to you as a client; also in respect of statutory and professional requirements.

The links provided below open pdf copies of relvant policies, which are designed to detail clearly those obligations and to reassure you that they are consistently being met. In considering your next steps towards counselling, you may like to familiarise yourself with them.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me for further information.

Safeguarding Policy

Maintaining  your confidentiality around whatever we might discuss during our sessions is very important to me. This policy sets out those rare circumstances in which I may have to consider disclosure of information to protect safety and wellbeing.

Privacy Policy

Protecting all of the information which I hold in respect of working with every client is a fundamental ethical and legal requirement. This policy sets out all aspects of data usage and protection which would apply to me engaging with you.

BACP Ethical Framework

As a member of the BACP, its Ethical Framework informs and governs my practice and my duty of care to every client. The policies on my website are based upon its principles and requirements.
